If you are interested in placing a young person with us, we first request a concise history of the individual, along with relevant details of their behavior and needs.

After conducting an impact assessment, if the decision is made to proceed, we would schedule a meeting with the young person to prepare them for their time with us. Subsequently, a customized care plan and placement agreement would be created, and a suitable date arranged for the young person to join us.

Whilst we much prefer planned placements, we are aware that very

often, young people in crisis have to be placed quickly. We are often

able to accept emergency and short-term placements on a minimum

14–day assessment basis.

We can also take same–day referrals for 1–7 day placements.

Decisions can often be given within 1–2 hours following an impact

assessment. We use your information as the basis of our decision

about our ability to provide a positive placement.
